iVend Point of Sale (POS) saves time, increases accuracy and helps control what happens at the store counter. It is affordable, easy to install and easy to learn, with a robust set of features that include:

 

Multiple tenders: Use a combination of tender types – cash, check, credit card, gift certificates, store vouchers – in any transaction.


Audit Trails: Maintain an audit trail automatically for any pre-defined action at the POS – sales, voids, discounts, refunds and more.


Manager Login: Control a variety of transactions through manager log-ins and permissions.


Gift Certificates: Sell gift certificates at each store that can be redeemed at the same or a different store. Each POS supports the use gift certificates as tender types.


Automatic Tax Computation:
Calculate taxes automatically on the basis of store location, item and local tax rules.

 

Promotions: Create store-specific sales promotions at the head office, which control the price at the stores. Promotion types include Buy-Some-Get-Some and item, class and group discounts.

 

Add or Update Customer Information: Update customer cards at the head office and stores along with some credit limit and loyalty status.

 

Suspend and Recall Transactions: Suspend POS transactions and then easily recall them for completion.

 

Partial Returns: Accept complete or partial return of goods by customers, with or without receipts.

 

Voiding: Perform voids for any line or for the complete transaction.

 

Credit Sales: Allow credit sales to customers and the subsequent receipt of payments against the sales. The sale and the receipt of payment automatically adjust the customer balance at the head office.

 

Reason Codes: Assign Reason Codes to transactions for business analysis at the head office.

 

Rental Items: Rent items to customers and track them until their return to the stores.

 

Power Search for Inventory and Customer: Retrieve item and customer data quickly with the keyboard-enabled Power Search.

 

Reprint Receipts: Print additional receipts for customers or management.

 

Cash Drawer: Link opening the cash drawer to printing receipts and the use of pre-defined tender types, and to the audit trail maintained at the store.
